Happy New Year!

In New Year’s Day, I got back hometown and relaxed. I watched long -distance relay road race called ekiden on the TV. It was good holiday^^

Yesterday, I borrow some books in library.Those are very difficult for me, but I find some interesting things.

First, I found many books written about bad aspects of mass media and found few books written about good aspects. Mass media have only bad aspects? If so, why? If not so, why people don’t pay attention about good aspects?

Second, although I read a part of the books, I notice that it is common notion that mass media have great power. Why they have such great influence on people?

Like this, I have a lot of question. Now, I’m going to decide　my close topic early (in one week, if possible).

Next week, I’ m going to the central library in university and borrow some books for my research. The library in Tsukuba university is relatively big in Japan. I think I will be able to get good books.

However, I have made a TV drama since last week, so I’m busy now^^;

Today, I’ll talk about myself.

I’m tsukuba university student and I’m majoring in pshychology. My favorite sports is baseball, especially baseball in high school! I have a brother, and he belonges to baseball club in high school.

My favorite animal is cat. I have a cat and his name is Ru (the name comes from curry roux). He is very, very cute! But he is in my hometown and I miss him…

I had two final exams yesterday. It was too difficult. I have some more exam next week and I study hard now.

Hello every one! My name is Shoko Ogaki and I’m a student in English S2 class at Tsukuba University, Japan.

In this blog, I’m going to write about my research in the class.

Now, I research about history of Japan after World War 2, especially how mass media report some events. Mass media had great influence on opinions of citizens during World War 2 and they also have now; so I’m interested in after the war.
